A Hawthorn Rootball Knotted Walking Stick Circa. 19th Century.
A walking stick made from a Hawthorn shaft with a rich and deep patina accompanied by numerous knotted Hawthorn rootballs converging along the shaft to the tip which ends in a brass ferrule. Reminiscent of a Shillelagh but on a far grander scale.
