A Pair Of Flintlock Box-Lock Pistols By Barber Of Newark C.1785

With round three stage turn off Iron Cannon-Barrels. Decorated with a stand of arms and floral engraving to both sides of the breech. Signed 'Barber Newark' to the left side breech. Slab-sided walnut butts profusely inlaid with silver wire scrolls and flowers and iron trigger-guard bow safes.
Both actions crisp and in very good condition. (One lower tang missing screw. Some small amount of silver scroll to butt missing.)
